I just finished an open house for a client here in McHenry. Overall it was a success. I am seeing more and more traffic come through my open houses as we get closer to Spring. Because we are still in the cold of winter, I decided to bring flowers with to the open house. I brought a cheerful rose bouquet with colors of yellow, pink and white.

I like to bring roses to open houses because it warms up the space. It takes a cold frigid day and adds a little cheer! If your house is currently on the market, I would suggest that you add fresh flowers to your dining room and kitchen if you know there is a showing coming up. It starts the appointment off on a positive note!

I know it can be difficult to decide what to get friends and family when they move into a new home. We often wonder if our taste is the same as theirs. What if we get them something and they HATE it?
